What is Trichology?
Trichology is the specialist field in dealing with problems of the hair and scalp. They can include hair loss, baldness, scaling of the scalp, itching, hair breakage dryness and oiliness.
What is qualified Trichology?
A trichologist is a person who has studied and successfully completed a
Trichology Educational Programme which is recognised by the following organisations:
- The Internal Association of Trichologists (I.A.T), or
- The Institute of Trichologists UK
Members of the International Association of Trichologist can use the qualification “I.A.T” after their name. The Trichologists at New Chain Centre are all I.A.T certified.
